About
Dr. S. Caglar Baslamisli graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Turkey, in June 1999. He obtained the M.Sc degree in June 2001 from the same department. From September 2001 to September 2002, he took a number of graduate courses from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He pursued his PhD studies at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey, starting from February 2003 until graduation in February 2007. Currently, he is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey.
His research interests include automotive engineering, vehicle dynamics control and robust control.
Dr. S. Caglar Baslamisli is fluent in French & English and has a good knowledge of Spanish. He enjoys travelling, playing carom billiards and going to the pictures.
