About
Dr. Gultekin Cakmakci received his BSc. degree in Chemical Engineering from Ankara University, MA in Science Education from the University of York, UK and PhD in Science Education from the University of Leeds, UK. He is a lecturer in Science Education at Hacettepe University and has been teaching courses on science education since 2005. His research interests focus on developing scientific literacy among students/teachers, and on the design, implementation and evaluation of science teaching. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of “Studies in Science Education”.
